Outcomes of NATA annual symposium & patient blood management

The 21st Annual NATA Symposium took place on the 12-16 April 2021 and discussed various aspects of patient blood management (PBM) implementation and clinical use of blood transfusion, with insights from across the globe. Speakers in multiple sessions highlighted the need for evidence-based PBM programmes, as well as for better communication between stakeholders and sectors. Expert speakers concurred in that PBM is beneficial for patients, and that current implementation must be improved. More information here.
